Every time the change in religion in Australia was when more people immigrated to Australia, more religions where believed in other than Christianity, so overtime Christianity changed to be one of the most popular religions instead of the most popular religion in Australia.
I did some research on religion in one particular article. (Source at the end)
What can you say about religion and age in Australia?
Ages between 18 and 34 are most likely to report of not having a religion (39.4%), Australians under the age of 18 have a higher chance of reporting of being a Christian but have a low chance of reporting to be another religion, Ages through 35 to 46 have a higher chance of reporting to be a Christian 50.4% then being non-religious 30.9% and being another religion 9.3%, ages 50 to 64 also have a higher chance of reporting to be Christian 59.5% then being non-religious which is 25.2% and being another religion 5.9%, an age is 65 plus have a strong chance of reporting to be Christian 70 point 3% than being nonreligious 16.1% and being other religions 3.3%.
What have been the changes over time in Religion in Australia?
Every time the change in religion in Australia was when more people immigrated to Australia, more religions where believed in other than Christianity, so overtime Christianity changed to be one of the most popular religions instead of the most popular religion in Australia.

What can you say about the emerging religions in Australia?
Christianity is one of the most common religions, but also other religions have increased as others believe in them, mostly Islam and Buddhism. Also, non-religious Australians have also increased but since 2016 Islam increased by 2.6% and Buddhism increased by 2.4% which means those are the two most common religions other than Christianity that are emerging majorly.
What can you say about the religion in the State and Territories as well as those who were born Overseas?
The statistics and data shows that Queensland is the top state to report to have mostly Australians who are Christian followed by New South Whales, Tasmania is known to have the most Australians to not be religious 38.2% and Victoria is known to be the state who has the most Australians who believe in other religions 10.6%. And it makes sense that Victoria has the most Australians that believe in other religions as Melbourne is a very diverse city in the whole of Australia.
Thanks for listening to my ted talk.
