What are stereotypes?

There can be a few of good stereotypes that are based on your interests such as hobbies, but a large amount of stereotypes are incredibly negative such as racist stereotypes, sexist stereotypes, religious stereotypes etc. This shows that stereotypes are unethical and are just stupid beliefs and bias referring to a group of people.
What are stereotypes in nature

“In nature when a person performs badly in an area they are stereotypically supposed to be bad at you might think the stereotype is true”
They stated “in nature when a person performs badly in an area they are stereotypically supposed to be bad at you might think the stereotype is true” so in nature if you believe in the stereotypes that are based upon you or other people you adapt to them and base what you see upon them as you start believing in them and seeing them as a true prophecy when their false… very much false. It also states that you start to internalise the negative stereotypes and the negative characteristics associated with the stereotypes and allow them to become true and base the world based on those stereotypes which a stereotype threats.
Why are negative stereotypes harmful?
Negative stereotypes are harmful, mainly to people of colour because assumptions rather than personalised information can justify their education, employment, housing, and other opportunities that they may get because of those assumptions and biases many people have placed upon them. So, stereotypes are very harmful when it comes to real life opportunities when there is a very popular stereotype about a group of individuals (mainly individuals of colour).
